Oh.

So, to the international socialist liberal (let's not be biased and every story has two sides) press, these Iraqui doctors (who left her confined in bed for days without food nor water) are now "more trustworthy" than the US doctors who DID report internal injuries consistent with rape and forced sodomy.

(The exact details of organ and intestinal damage, I understand from a third-hand source, are rather gruesome....)

American doctors say she was raped, not her.

Dr. Khafazji said Lynch was taken first to the Military Hospital, a few hundred yards from the ambush site at around 8 a.m., about an hour after the attack. A few hours later, she was brought to his hospital.

"She was injured at about 7 in the morning," he said. "What kind of animal would do it to a person suffering from multiple injuries?"

They were of the species Iraqious Muslimunous Rapistus. I think they have examples American zoos prisons.

I believe American Doctors over these guys thanks.

I believe these "good doctors" over there may have actually taken part in the rapes.

If things had gone well for Saddam over there, they would be bragging right now about their part in her torture. But now they seek to gain favor with Americans, so of course no such thing happened.

They are famous for their lies and have absolutely no moral rules against it.

This particular doctor saved her life. She would have been dead of a head wound and internal bleeding from broken limbs incurred when her Humvee crashed. She was not stabbed or shot. Another reasson she is alive is becauase another Iraqi doctor told us where she was. They are not all bad.

In my view, they were simply currying favor with the most recent victor, that's all.

Your proof of this ridiculous statement? Lynch has already said that these guys saved her life and treated her well.

He said Lynch was fully clothed with her field jacket buttoned up. "Her clothes were not torn, buttons had not come off, her pants were zipped up," al-Saeidi said.

Government issue BDU trousers do not have zippers. Hmmmmmm. Minor point in cross-examination.

Oh, I don't believe that. I do however think that like the one doctor said they did not look for signs of rape--she was critically injured and they had their hands full just saving her life. The other doctor may just be covering for himself. He said the signs weren't there. He may not want to commit himself to seeing the signs because of questioning he might have to undergo... or who knows what else. He's doing a classical CYA but we don't know the reasons. Life was and is still complicated over there.

This book about Lynch was written by Rick Bragg, one-time NYTimes reporter suspended for using his byline on a story written by someone else.
