She is giving all the Jessica bashers the truth you all have been calling for, that she was not some she-rambo movie herione, that the real heroes were her rescuers and saying that others have used her story and hyped it without accuracy and without her participation in it.

I actually defended her until I saw the comments about her feeling used by the pentagon (or military or whatever.) It's the media that used her. And her family completely cooperated.

You are right, sir. Thise nitwits are pissed off at Jessica Lynch because she refused to play their game and dance for them. I'm a staunch conservative and I fully back President Bush. But this does it for me. I don't think I can come back in here and make another post. These folks are like vicious dogs, so highly trained in one way of thinking that even when their "side" is wrong they just make up some stupid excuse for overlooking the truth and keep right on rolling merrily along. I'm outta here.

Why do you still insist I'm "bashing" her? I'm bashing The Lie, as are most FReepers who you don't agree with. I say now, as I've always said, that if she didn't tell the truth, that if she continued to maintain her silence on the events of that night, that if she quietly went along with The Lie, then she would have no sense of decency. But that's evidently not the case, is it?

Therefore, do you still think I'm "bashing" Lynch because I call the Lynch Lie what it is...a crock of horse**it that is potentially hazardous to our national security? Am I "bashing" her because I have seen through The Lie from the beginning, and refuse to swallow it whole? Is it "bashing" her, the other women in the military, and the military as a whole to not accept whatever the Pentagon spews forth, in a knee-jerk fashion? No, it's not...in fact, to do so is to do all servicemembers a grave disservice, and to turn your back on the truth. In short, to do so is to be a stool pigeon.

YES!!! Let this be heard loudly and clearly across the nation! Telling the truth in the face of likely Pentagon pressure, and risking the ire of the feminazis who held her up as proof that "girls can do anything boys can, only better" shows incredible courage. Contrary to what you and others think about my stance, I've never held her in disdain, and I've told you that I was and still am very happy she was rescued. Now I know she's interested in the truth getting out, and that makes her better than OK in my book.

But...The Lie still needs to be squashed.
