That's the way I read it, Dev. That Scott said something else about the gun. It did seem like Brocchini knew enough NOT to say something. I also noticed that the defense did not question Brocchini about this either, which tells me thaat the defense was A OK about this not being answered. This is making me crazy!

Other times people will look at the judge and say, "Can I say it?" When this happens, it means the person being testified about said something really obscene. So the witness is not sure they can say the dirty words in the courtroom. Invariably, the judge says to go ahead, and then the witness says, "Okay... well, then he said, 'F*** the G***** cops! They can stick it up their ***!!!'" Or some such equally humorous thing.
So at first glance I thought maybe Scott had said something like, "F*** you!" to Brocchini. But then I remembered how COURTEOUS everyone said Scott was; he would never say such a thing!
