It's still a guess! Whatever it was, Distaso did not want to go there.

Other times people will look at the judge and say, "Can I say it?" When this happens, it means the person being testified about said something really obscene. So the witness is not sure they can say the dirty words in the courtroom. Invariably, the judge says to go ahead, and then the witness says, "Okay... well, then he said, 'F*** the G***** cops! They can stick it up their ***!!!'" Or some such equally humorous thing.

So at first glance I thought maybe Scott had said something like, "F*** you!" to Brocchini. But then I remembered how COURTEOUS everyone said Scott was; he would never say such a thing!

Gloriously courteous! What did you think of the cross examination so far? I'm not at all impressed with McAllister, quite the verbal stumbler.
