Wouldn't that be a slap in the face of the Democrats nationally and in Florida?

Shouldn't her title be "current Florida congresswoman", not "former sec. of state"?

I'll vote for her. And her path will be that much easier once they find Graham wrote the "Memo of Treason" recently.

Didn't she turn out to be a RINO? Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is some little memory that I can't put my finger on that showed her true colors. What was it?

Ditto that. She would lock this seat up. Some say she's liberal, but I'll take ANY republican that's been subject to the fire that she has. She NEVER folded under the heat.

We have a couple of good people here. Johnnie Byrd, currently Speaker of the Florida House, is also going to run. I heard him speak at an event last night, and he's very good. He's low-key, but seems to be able to get things done and round up the state Representatives so they actually take action on things.

Suddenly, Florida has a couple of really good contenders!

And as a Bonus she is very easy on the eyes.

"I'm still testing our temperature," Harris said, calling it a tough choice for her and her family."

You go, girl!

We will need to start posting Mrs Harris pictures in these threads. Similar to Ann Coulter. I don't know how otherwise I would.

I want Harris to win as Senator just to see the pained look on Petah Jennings' face when he has to announce her as the winner.

If you only need a "New York minute" to register in Florida, I'd vote for her too. At least, I could do is donate to the campaign.

Me too.

I prefer Daniel Webster though. Katherine Harris would be the most vulnerable candidate plus she has a safe seat where she can accrue seniority.

I doubt she'd want to go from safe and sure re-election to an iffy Senate run.

Yeah, it'd be nice to tweak the nipples of the liberal whiners who're constantly bitching about Florida.

But Katherine is essentially a pro-choice, somewhat liberal Republican, isn't she?

I went to conservative.org, the ACU's web site and couldn't find a rating for KH...I'm certain it is better than Bob Grayed Ham's, so don't get me wrong...I just think it'd be better to have a true dyed in the wool conservative there.

This time last year, I had no idea I would be living in Florida a year later. Katherine got a vote when I moved here.
