re you accusing us that we want to end the exploitation by parents of their children? We confess to that crime…

Considering how many women have no problem using kids, theirs and everyone elses, as pawns and tools to get what they want, this seems like the pot and kettle getting into a name-calling contest.

my fiancée says it’s either me or the guns

Harumph - this fellow needs to reexamine his priorities.

If you miss her, you need more practice, until your marksmanship improves...

It's the fishing song. She tells him if he goes fishing today she'll be gone by noon. Then comes "I'm gonna miss her....."

I'm sorry, but these guys need to realize that an ultimatum like this indicates some deep problems for the marriage down the road. An inflexible "my-way-or-the-highway" mentality combined with deep ideological differences is a bad time in the making.

probably leading to the bumper sticker that says

I Got a Gun for My Wife.
Best Trade I Ever Made

I'll always remember the expression on my wife's face when I walked into the house with the Ma Deuce's receiver and she said "What in the hell is that?"

I answered, "Half a gun. The barrel is still out in the car"

Eventually, Wells predicted, "We shall find ourselves almost abruptly engaged in a new system of political issues in which the socialist world-state will be plainly and consciously lined up against the scattered vestigial sovereignties of the past."

We're there, dude.

Yes, the marxist's love their little psycholinguistic tricks with double meanings for words. After all, who could argue against something like "gun safety laws", right? Sadly, our society has become so dialectic in practice that most people get offended when someone who is positional tries to nail down definitions. This too is part of the feminization of society, that we have to repect all positions and worry about offending those with no knowledge, no expertise, and no real stake in things affected by laws other than how it makes them feel as we come to consensus (with sensation, with feelings) rather than rely on our conscience (with science, with facts). There are way too many feminized men out there who are to blame for this, more so than the women.

I knew it was somthing like that. However, based on the experience of my uncle, I like the "I miss my Ex, but my aim is improving" sticker.

If you haven't already, get Hayek's "The Road to Serfdom."

Perhaps the most important book written in the 20th century.

They dump the weapons on the counter and announce, "I’m getting married and my fiancée says it’s either me or the guns."

I'm sorry, but these guys need to realize that an ultimatum like this indicates some deep problems for the marriage down the road. An inflexible "my-way-or-the-highway" mentality combined with deep ideological differences is a bad time in the making.

I'm afraid that if someone said this to me, it would be an indication to me that this wasn't the right person for me.

I know a man, originally from Florida, whose wife helped him pack him guns before they moved to New Jersey. Since then she has changed her opinion about guns -- now we call her "Sarah Brady." I think that the only thing that is keeping them together is their two kids.

Fear of firearms is usually due to lack of or improper exposure. I've converted a few anti's by taking them to the range.

Every year here in New Jersey a number of gun clubs hold a "Women's Day" or "Minority Day" at their ranges. At the very least, they are intended to offer basic instruction on how to handle them and to show people that guns are not bad.

Commies don't hate guns. They only hate your guns because they don't want to get shot.

Oh, absolutely right. They want a monopoly on force. That way we have no choice but to do what they want us to do.
