Very nice.

There was also a reporter (I'm too tired to look up his name right now, but will if anyone's curious) who actually was making an audio tape at the time of the assassination and captured the sounds of the gunshots. Unfortunately, the tape was accidentally recorded over by the station when he ran off to cover the developing stories that day. Nonetheless, he listened to it once before leaving it at the station, and (unlike everyone who heard the shots live as they happened) he knew they were coming and listened intently to them and counted as they played on the tape. He states that there were clearly three shots, no more, no less.

That's also the number reported by the majority of the "earwitnesses", although some people reported fewer and some reported more.

Travis Linn I believe. The story is recounted in "Case Closed".

Right. And a majority also reported all shots came from the same location.
