study the book of Warren

Is this a reference to a financial manual by Warren Buffet? All in all, this is a most peculiar column.

Pastor Baldwin seems to be in the doldrums this week, even with some good news in regard to elections, Terri Schiavo, and the partial-birth abortion ban.

"Pastor Baldwin seems to be in the doldrums this week,..."
Maybe his Scotch supply is running low.

So, here I am: a little guy with a little church in a little town with little money, and little retirement. I have a little radio program, write a little column, and if I were forced out of work today, I would no doubt finish my life in a little poor house. My wife and I haven't taken even a little vacation in years and there's little prospect in sight. That's quite a record for over a half-century of living!

Chuck's a whiner and always has been. I've never read one, single positive word from this "pastor."

If he'd look at the glass as half-full, instead of half-empty, he might get a bigger church or be listened to by more people.

Negative people are downers, and nobody wants to be around them. For good reason.

Chuck's a baby.

I put Chuck Baldwin in the same category as Larry Klayman-- they're both makers of "much ado about nothing." Chuck's commentary is a waste of e-space. [At least Larry is entertaining. BTW, I wonder how his big campaign is going.]

I'm just a "poor little fool."

Sometimes he gets it partially correct, imo.

I like Baldwin's columns because he's such a pathetic, sad-sack complainer that it actually becomes humorous.

Dear Chucky,

Good Grief. You whine about your poor little house.

My Parents have been missionaries for 30 years and they don't even have a house, poor or otherwise. They use my cabin to have a place to park their stuff between assignments. If you got in the ministry expecting to get rich you got in the wrong business.

So here.... have some cheese to go with that vat of whine.

And let me add that maybe the reason God has not allowed riches to come your way is that you couldn't handle it.

That may sound cruel and normally I wouldn't say it but your whining is annoying!

Especially when I know so many that gave up so much more then you and who count it as a joy to sacrifice for Him.
