"Dividing America" makes me wonder how many bridges across the Mississippi River we have, particularly those on major interstates. I don't thinkt there are that many.
Taking them out would pretty much split the country in half. No more cargo going in either direction until they get rebuilt. Done right before the Christmas season starts it would cripple the economy.

There are several in the the minneapolis area alone. BTW we've had the ability to cross rivers for a couple generations----the bridges into Germany in WW II were put up in a matter of hours. It won't be the midwest.

I remember reading years ago a massive earthquake on the West Coast would eventually wind LA up next to SanFran...whatever the 'split' is, I feel it is directed to cripple us and keep us from being able to communicate...

Or maybe they would want to take out the Gateway to the West. It would certainly be a symbolic division. I wonder what other western gateways could be used to divide?
