Maybe the "splitting of the moon" actually refers to what was revealed when the moon was split. In the texts, I believe that "Hira Mountain" was viewed between the two halves of the moon. Could this be significant?

Maybe. My first thought is that I mistyped the URL, but I was clicking a link I had used before, so it could not have been the result of a typo. And if it was a bad URL, the message would have been something like "does not exist" rather than "no longer available."
