Excellent speech.

He's being a bit disingenous on Islam, which is the only one of the world's major religions to present itself as both a political system and a religion; and therein lies its problem with the modern world.

However, the only approach that can be taken is to try to find a "work-around" for Islamic countries, without actually confronting the root problem of Islam. The great majority of people in those countries probably do not wish to live under sharia, have mullahs breathing down their necks, etc., and it's important to encourage them so that this state of affairs cannot come about.
