WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A simmering feud over prewar intelligence on Iraq erupted into open battle on the Senate floor Wednesday, triggered by a Democratic staff memo vowing to expose what it said were the Bush administration's "misleading, if not flagrantly dishonest, methods and motives" in making the case for war.

Some Democratic staffers suggested there should be an investigation. Investigate how the pubs got the memo, but not the treason in the memo itself. Un-Effing-Believable.

I also find the CNN headline amusing. It's just a petty "feud" dontchaknow. IOW, CNN sez: Nothing to see here, move along....
To: Grit
the source of the memo may not be a staffer at all, but a Senator... kinda would blow away their current "staffer" blame game.
I think there's more to come. I think that's why we will see resignations. I think that's why dems will lose in novembers for decades. I fear the worst.
Which Senator(s) or staffers have been on saddam's/yasser's payroll?... the recent discovery of Iraqi intel files has scared a lot of usually loud dems into silence... or possibly resignation or... "not to run again"....

Did you see Hannity challenge Corzine to put him under oath last night?

Pointing out that the Intelligence Committee meeting room is under 24-hour guard, Democrats suggested Republicans stole the memo or fished it from a trash can, then leaked it to the news media Hannity said the memo didn't come from the trash or a computer. The Demorats lying again. Shocking.

Remember when Hannity asked Sweet Baby James to send/fax the memo to Senator Roberts he made him white out the leakers name on the letterhead.
This was a leak from a DEM Senator on the Intelligence Committee....IMHO.

This unpatriotic memo also shows how the Republicans are continually led by Dimocraps into politically compromising positions to the detriment of Republicans. Senator Kyle was being led to slaughter by Rockefeller and he didn't even know it. That's a disgrace and shows the ineptness of some Republicans in dealing with the Dimocrap agenda.

The memo is being discussed right now on MSNBC and if you could see the smirk on the DEM talking heads face it is shocking .....he is almost laughing at the Republican on to debate the issue..

Yes, you are remembering the article posted here the other day claiming that the US is in possession of a treasure trove of info naming names of "political officials" that were bribed by Saddam into publicly opposing the war. Heads should roll, indeed.

This doesn't need a frikken debate.
Rockefeller stands by the memo--no apology. So it's okay with HIM to use secret intelligence politically, in an election year, to defeat President Bush. It doesn't matter to him if that compromises the war effort or our troops.
In my book, that's treason.
I think he should resign, immediately.
I told him so in an email:

Let's have an investigation that answers two questions; what did the democRATS know and when did they know it?

I think that a lot is being withheld for a better time. Although I'm sure curious!
Holding back very damaging info has the effect of changing their behavior. They've done some very bad things... and the opposing party knows it and can prove it. Got 'em by the short hairs.
But once the info is out, they can spin it with their media control.

...the US is in possession of a treasure trove of info naming names of "political officials" that were bribed by Saddam into publicly opposing the war. This is the info being held, imo.
It will come out in due time :0)

The cnn spin of the truth(demonrats politicizing the security of the USA)is abscene beyond discription. Teddy boy's and his elite liberal media gang's hatred fo the USA is beyond reason.
To: Judith Anne
In my book that's treason Come now, it should be clear to you, that the demonrats are immune from prosecution for any felony acts they commit. As usual, they are giving Lady Justice and the American people the finger.
To: Principled
Senator Rockefeller, what did you know and when did you know it? America wants to know.
