Don't the gay lobby claim that Lewis and Clark were gay ?

I think it's just Lewis who is "suspected". And I think the strongest evidence that Lewis was gay is that he was a terribly unhappy person and he (may have) killed himself. What does that say about the gay lobby and their own self-image?
