WASHINGTON -- The festering quarrel over the Senate investigation into pre-war US intelligence on Iraq flared up yesterday as Republicans and Democrats traded charges of politicizing the probe and engaging in office espionage.
At issue was a draft strategy memorandum written by a Democratic staff member of the Senate Intelligence Committee. Leaked to the media Tuesday night, it laid out how the party could steer the probe in an effort to produce the information most damaging to the Bush administration.

How many times have we seen this ploy? What do the Dim-Demmers always do when they're caught in their lies or with their traitorous ways? Demonize the messenger . . . a tactic learned well from Pee Wee and Hitlery Clinton.
They're not responding to anything documented in the memo...they're trying to shift the blame by suggesting "Watergate-style" Republican operatives broke in and stole the memo.
As usual, the bulk of the media is giving them a pass.
Un-frickin-believable.

We should have known the Dems would try this tack,
the hand of Hillery! is all over it.
Breakin = Republican = Nixon
There you see, Republicans can't be trusted because they have a HISTORY of criminality.
Next thing you know they will be saying Oliver North stole it and gave it to Ronald Reagan who gave it to Hannidy.

He can testify about the memo without leaking the name of his source.

Got a bit carried away, but I had to let Rockerfella know what I think of him:
Senator:
You haven't a shred of creditability. You have gone beyond descent to disloyality fringing on treason.
We have fine young men and women fighting and dying and you are doing everything you can to destroy a president. In wartime, that is treasonous. You aren't worthy to wash their socks.
I watched you dance under Tony Snow's questioning. Your not a very good dancer, sir. In point of fact, you are a bald faced liar.
Your lack of integrity as Vice Chair of the Committee On Intelligence is a travesty. If you had a shred of honor, you would resign.
There is an old saying in the Middle East - "May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits". In your case, I would wish for the crotch!
Sincerely:

Pubbies on the committee ought to suspend further meetings until Rockefeller comes clean and steps down.
Think I'll email Pat Roberts and George Allen advising them I'm sending Bush-Cheney a donation but I'm not sending another dime to the NRSC until Senate Republicans start standing up for our country, our military and our president.

My word!
You sound as angry as I feel.
I'd really love to know how many of these things he's gotten...but it doesn't matter, I guess.
Really, it's probably better to polite, but strong. Otherwise, they'll just have ammunition.
But I agree with your feelings.

Hannity says he takes it as a veiled threat when the dems say this should be investigated to find who and how this memo was leaked. Says he will never, ever release the name of his sources.

This is as bad as it can get, in fact badder. Remember when someone in the Sacramento State Legislature left the speakers on when the democrats were plotting to hold up the budget so that it would make Republicans look bad to the public and everyone in their offices heard it?
Once again, democrat leaders prove they ain't got nothing to offer voters except rancor and divisive bitter partisan politics.

Actually, that IS a threat, and it isn't very veiled.
Good for Mr. Hannity!

I agree. And imagine Sean agrees, too, but he took the more diplomatic approach. Sean isn't going to let this one slide, IMO.

If we don't let Sean know that WE care about this, he's not going to have much faith in our ability to hold Rockefeller's feet to the fire.
If we're going to just be done being mad, and if we plan to let go and let it slide, then we're no better than the RINOs we criticize.
This involves the safety of our troops and the security of our nation in a time of war. Rockefeller plans to use his position on the Intel Committee to embarrass the commander in chief during an election year, no matter the cost to our troops or our nation's security. And he's not apologetic about it--in fact, he's being accusatory, the frikken bleep!
If that isn't treason, and if it isn't worth fighting for, and emailing about, NOTHING is. We either do it, or we don't.

thanks for the e-mail address....i just wrote this a$$....and it felt great getting my anger off my chest....my nephew just got back from 9 months in Iraq and to think his life could have been threatened by this idiot and the democrats wanting to get the white house back more than they want to win the war on terrorism is absolutely beyond me. I'm sure i'll never get any response but still, it felt good to give this pig a piece of my mind. And you know who i feel the worse for - West Virginia - my goodness, they have two complete idiots for senators - the carpet bagger and the kkk jerk!
