I notice Priest didn't quote the part of the memo that had national security being a secondary consideration...Gee, wonder why the Post didn't just print the entire contents of the memo so its readers could decide for themselves?

Cause then maybe the readers would be thinking the same thing I am? That this is treason...

The periodicals are harboring terrorists.

Rockefeller, in a released statement, said the memo "was likely taken from a waste basket or through unauthorized computer access."

No denial at all, just that it has been discovered. Interesting.

The same reason they didn't print the Rumsfeld memo a couple of weeks ago -- so they could selectively quote from it to portray the picture they want to present rather than just report the news.

I was surprised the Post mentioned Sean Hannity.

I was not surprised the Post did not mention how the Rats are willing to compromise national security in order to defeat the president.

Hm, The Memo crosses the WaPo's radar screen.

I heard Fox and Friends promo Kit Bond coming up to discuss shortly.

The Dims really stepped on their weenies with this one. Ye Gads they have been doing that a lot.

It hasn't been tabulated, and there is no way to verify it, but I am sure that a significant portion of Arnold's votes were solidified in the aftermath of the "open mike" incident in which the Dims discussed worsening the state's fiscal woes for partisan gain.

This is exactly the kind of crapola that pisses people off the worse. Lying is one thing. Politicians are expected to lie and for the most part, most do. Those who don't are still accused of lying and since most Americans have neither the time or energy to figure out who is lying they generally assume they all are.

But this REALLY stings people. This tells the voters that the Dims are cynically playing them for chumps -- and no one, especially a chump, likes to find out he has been played for a chump.

And notice how this is characterized as a "squabble", kind of a minimizing word.

Clark is too hard to take first thing in the morning. And his plan will be impossible to follow as he waffles so much.

So glad to see his poll numbers tanking. hehehe

Yeah,... and they indicate that the "squable" is over prewar intelligence - NOT the fact that the "squable" is over Dems using intel for political purposes. Fargin Icehole bastages.

Man - leaking Intelligence Committee information should be such an offense that resignation is all but inevitable. But I guess that only applies to the Republicans as the Rats are above the law.

Maybe this is why Senator Graham is leaving the Senate.

His whole focus was on "INTEL" and accusations about deception by President Bush. He was a tool, with supposed credibility that has kept the drum beat going, planting the seeds for getting an "independent counsel". Maybe even leaking parts and pieces of "INTEL".

The peak was the Kennedy speech on the floor outright calling President Bush a liar.

Now it seems that this supposed memo has been the plan for a long long time.

"Joe Wilson" also seems to fit into the "strategy". Maybe the accused "leaking" was crying wolf to divert attention about who is really leaking.

Just listening to Senator Bond, I believe that he is on to some in the committee, but not going to play all his cards.

Looks like this "memo" getting leaked takes the "air" out of these "liars" getting that "Independent Counsel" they planned to get.

the memo has not been denied.

They are only sorry they got caught red handed, not about the content of the memo.

Rockefeller must resign over this or the one responsible must resign. A democrat must pay for this.

Remember the democrats are the MINORITY PARTY. They do not control, Republicans need to get over this wimpy club attitude. Politics in the senate is now a full contact blood sport, live with it. (in other words, act like you have some testicles or get out of the way for those who do.)

Where is the majority leader? MIA?

These buzzards are praying for the day there is no Republican Party or any other party so they can adopt their own constitution so only one party is legal.

Agreed that Rockefeller or whomever is responsible should resign. Will the Republicans push the issue? Unlikely.

We've never fought or defended ourselves appropriately. Don't know why. It's one of the great mysteries of the universe.

You could very well be right about Graham. He is at the top of the list, along with Rockefeller.
