Okay, on this thread it only took until the 3rd post until someone made the nonsensical assertion that the GOP is the real problem here. If it wasn't for posts like yours, I'd be afraid I wasn't on FR.
They are. Everybody knows that the rats are going to behave like rats unless their power is checked. The Republicans have been entrusted with that responsibility, but have never fulfilled it. They are the ones we need to pressure.
1.) This is TREASON. If the Republicans do nothing about treason, what would you call their actions? I call it, to steal a line from Zell Miller, "treason's first cousin."
2.)If they do nothing, in order to advance the lie of the "spirit of bipartisanship" they have FAILED us, right?
3.) Since you are a a genius... Tell me, step by step, what the chain of events would be if a REPUBLICAN memo was leaked during the CLINTON Administration.
When a schmuck acts like a schlemiel, there is little outrage after a while--it becomes expected. But when the Republicans start condoning this behavior--in effect, supporting and encouraging this behavior--the outrage should be directed towards them. Right?
