I just don't understand why she wouldn't see (and thank) Al-Rehaief when he went to her town to see her recently.

She is humble. I pray her life returns to normal and those terrible forgotten memories never crop up on her.
The liberals who complained about the stories surrounding her rescue should feel the size of ants when the book comes out. So she didnt go down in a blaze of glory...I view her as a great American and although many may disagree with her presense in Iraq, they cant deny her patriotism.

Absolutely agree. I don't know how we can have a policy that we know will result in females being raped, all in the name of political correctness. It is an automatic occurence when they are captured in a conflict in this region.

Women on the front lines = a PC bad idea. A slight understatement.
Only a degenerate, barbaric society sends women into a battlefield.
Civilized societies protect their women.

Yup. Taking nothing away from her, I hope that's the lesson civilization can take from Pvt. Lynch's ordeal.

I just don't understand why she wouldn't see (and thank) Al-Rehaief when he went to her town to see her recently.Probably a hell of a lot going on there psychologically. Sounds like she can't even bear to come face to face with al-Rehaief.

Did anyone honestly think otherwise? Last war they raped Red female doctors they captured among other things... Iraq was a regime that had DOGS trained to rape, both male and female human beings as torture and humiliation... you really thought they didn't torture and rape any POW's this time around?
To: saquin
A 20-year-old from the hollers of West Virginia, Lynch knew what could happen to her if she fell into Iraqi hands. A female pilot captured in the Persian Gulf War had been raped. "Everyone knew what Saddam's soldiers did to women captives," Bragg wrote. "In (Lynch's) worst nightmares, she stood alone in that desert as the trucks of her own army pulled away."
Female troops = female POWs = raped American women. Can this experiment in Clintonism end, yet?

Whats with all the M-16's jamming? I've carried a few and fired them in a variety of adverse conditions and have never had this problem. Lousy weapons maintenence, not necesarily by the individual, is what I suspect. Or lousy magazines.

Jessica Lynch," he said, "we're United States soldiers and we're here to protect you and take you home."
"I'm an American soldier, too," Lynch replied.

No, the lesson that needs to be learned from this is to use nukes to clear out Islamic cities. Until Islam is obliterated, there can be no peace or safety.

The scars on Lynch's battered body and the medical records indicate she was anally raped, and "fill in the blanks of what Jessi lived through on the morning of March 23, 2003," Bragg wrote."The records do not tell whether her captors assaulted her almost lifeless, broken body after she was lifted from the wreckage, or if they assaulted her and then broke her bones into splinters until she was almost dead."
A 20-year-old from the hollers of West Virginia, Lynch knew what could happen to her if she fell into Iraqi hands. A female pilot captured in the Persian Gulf War had been raped.
Does anybody think that the scumbag Democrats and the screeching feminists and the Clintonites will back off from their agenda of feminizing the military and placing women in combat positions? Nahhh....
"Everyone knew what Saddam's soldiers did to women captives," Bragg wrote.
To: Reagan79
In addition to potential harm to the female soldiers and society in general, there is also the detrimental affect upon the cohesiveness and morale of male soldiers. How many times have procedures not been followed by men because of concern for women in their ranks during firefights, etc.? The urge to protect women is BIOLOGICAL for *%#*^*$* sake! When will these PC dimwits get a clue?
