To: Revolting cat!
The Animals (the original group, not the later psychedelic version) was my favorite band of that era. As big as they were, they could have been huge if not for corrupt management and bloated egos (mainly Burdon and Price) that destroyed the band before its time. Recently sent an email to guitarist Hilton Valentine's website, and received a cordial reply. Made my day.

Oh yea, thanks for the tip. I've got to send Hilton Valentine e-mail as well. By the way, Alan Price left rather early, followed by the rest. I suspect it was Burdon's ego that destroyed the group that had a potential to be as big as those other two British groups, what's their names? In 1963 England (before the US British Invasion in 1964) it was the B's, the RS' and the Animals, and then all the rest!
