...revived debate on a polarizing issue that could undercut his hopes of winning support from swing voters.Funny, no mention from this reporter about the polls showing what Americans of all stripes think about this abortion procedure.

Former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean, a physician, said it would "chill the practice of medicine and endanger the health of countless women." Strange how a procedure that is usually described as "extremely rare" by its supporters, suddenly now affects "countless women".
The pro-death crowd really needs to get its story straight.

A federal judge in Nebraska called the law "highly suspect" and issued a temporary order blocking it from applying to four abortion-rights doctors who filed suit. What the heck is this?

This commentary is so far out they couldn't find anyone at AP to put their name in a byline. Maybe it's a press release from NARAL or Barbara Boxer.

"Today we saw the real George Bush. If we could afford to, we would put that speech on television every day from now until the election," said Kate Michelman, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America. "Any shred of doubt that this is the most anti-choice president this country has ever had has been convincingly erased." Yeah, I'll even give them money if that's their plan. It just shows how out of touch the dims are. They go to their cocktail parties and think they have the country.

Does anyone have a listing of the 400 supporters who were present. I would like to know just how many of the Roman Catholic hierarchy were present.

"President Bush signed into law the most far-reaching abortion restrictions in three decades Wednesday, an emotionally charged measure already challenged in three federal courts."
Far reaching because . . . . should we maybe mention that abortion has gone to a far reaching extreme. Birthing the body of a live fetus and stabbing into its skull is infanticide. As a woman, I am offended that these people think this is a "right" of women. They are ghouls.

President Bush signed into law the most far-reaching abortion restrictions in three decades... No...the President signed a law restricting infanticide.
Thank you, sir. ~~~ And, may God bless you, President Bush.

When I hear someone making a point that PBA is a right, I graphically describe the procedure. So far, without exception, the people are shocked, not knowing what it really is. Not only that, I'v made a few converts that way. We should shout loud and clear what PBA is. Until people are sick or sickend of hearing it. The Media wing of the DNC (CBS,NBC,CNN, NPR) will never do it.

Those who make 100,000 per month sucking fetuses out of the womb...

Oh, you can expect that the liberal lemmings will reiterate every tired phrase at their disposal when it comes to abortion.
A short list of Orwellian political terminology will do: "Chilling effect," a "chill wind," "rare procedure," "right-wing," "right-wing extremists," etc, etc.

"Today we saw the real George Bush. If we could afford to, we would put that speech on television every day from now until the election," I love it... I hope that we do!! Especially the part where he said that the right to life wasn't given by government, but the creator of life..... Gave me chills... This speech was very well articulated for a man that has been accused of being dimwitted and limited in thought and vocabulary.
I have some liberal friends that are all for this judge; I have been sending them all to
this link !(-=WARNING_VERY_GRAPHIC=-)!. No, I'm not kidding.
