Well, Nov. 9th is the Lunar eclipse. So 11-9. Hmmm....

As the Sunni hadith says it, with the solar eclipse occurring in mid-month, this would require the moon to suddenly double its speed of movement after the onset of the month!

This only demonstrates additional ignorance.

If the moon doubled it's speed of movement at the onset of a month, that month would only be ~14 days long.

Well, this total eclipse will be more toward the END of Ramadan (November 27, 2003) than toward the middle... but it might fit.

There will be a total Lunar Eclipse on November 8, 2003.

Fifteen days separate these events.

Check out the post and link at #14. There's plenty of wiggle room for the Mahdi-jihadis to play fast and loose with the mechanics of the double eclipse, if they choose to do so.
