Thanks for the heads-up! I am glad to hear a Republican Senator finally stand up and challenge the obvious motives of the MINORITY party.
I believe the Rats are definitely heading for major defeats in the near future.
Oh Great! Senator Lott is up! He's pretending to be tough, but in the end, if it were up to him to take any action, you could FORGET IT! Mr. "Let's all just get along"

Does anyone have access to the text of this memo? If it doesn't contain any intelligence secrets, it would be great to post it all over the Internet.
To: Principled
Lott speaking now and sounding pretty hot under the collar. Still yapping about working in a bipartisan manner, though.
How I have come to hate that word.

lott: "now we see this memorandum which outlines a plan of political attack in the intelligence committee. our adversaries around the world must be smiling. . . . this is a very debilitating thing that we have seen. already the telegraph in london is quoting senate intelligence committee democrats using some of the same words in the memorandum! now, to have this plan come out and make it totally political is one of the most disquieting things i've seen."

Lott is a good man, however weak
To: truthkeeper
everytime i hear lott i think of how term limits would be a good idea. he's not a representative of a political philosophy, he's a member of a club.

"Amazingly enough (sarcasm), I don't see a single article in the Washington Post, the New York Times, the LA Times, or the USA Today over this Democrat memorandum." Im sure theyre withholding it until right before the election so that it will help out the Republicans like they did in CA for the Democrats. Im also sure that I need to stop drinking so early in the morning.

Lott" " I'm looking forward to hearing from the Democrats and hope they will asure us that this was not their intention"
And I'm SURE you will hear them say exactly that, Senator Lott. So I am sure you will be satisfied.
