Does anyone know why the daily thread keeps getting moved off the side bar?

The problem today is NOT that the daily thread is getting removed from that category, its just that no one seems to be screening out inappropriate posts to that category.

That sidebar category only displays the latest 10 posts. Terri's (daily) is 12 posts ago. When I just read the headlines themselves for the top ten, they don't SOUND like most of them belong there:

As soon as a moderator does some 'cleanup' and moves most of these to other categories, Terri's thread should reappear on the sidebar. In the meantime, if you click on the "MORE" at the bottom of the sidebar, you'll find the 'Terri' thread 12 or so posts down.

Some people, IMHO, deliberately post there just to get 15 minutes of fame before a moderator moves them to a vanity area. But no one is watching the store at the moment it seems.

It is in my sidebar. It goes back to the top of "activism" every time someone posts on it. I'm not exactly sure how that works, so I pinged the mods. Maybe they can explain it to you.
