I understand how you feel that maybe Greer is just setting the stage for a sense of false hope for the Schindlers. That is a possibility. But there is also the possibility that Greer has 1.) gotten tired of the Schindlers persistent pleas for help, 2.)that this is what he has meant each time he has told the Schindlers that they were arguing their case improperly, or 3.)that the attention is getting to him.

In any case, Michael has to counter the stuff that was now thrown at him, instead of the other way around. He may be able to come up with some types of treatment he allowed Terri to receive, but there is little way that he can get around the issue of being in a relationship with Jodi and his two children by her that is a conflict of interest.
