"Please call YOUR congresscritter and INSIST that action be taken against "Justice" O'Connor..."I have already emailed them. I plan on calling them next.
O'Connor and the ,"others", that agree with her need to be taken down. There seems to be alot of people doing what I am doing. I believe it may happen.

We (FReepers) Have the numbers to make it happen believe me.. if everyone just did their part and called thier congressman something will be done... Make them do thier jobs and VOTE that is all we can ask.. if they don't vote the way you think they should then get involved in the campaign of someone who does..... If we continue to let our elected representatives get away with NOT voting then we are only hurting ourselves...

Sandra Day O'Connor, subtitled "What Hath Reagan and Kenneth Starr Wrought!"
I favor the impeachment of all six liberal justices by the House. It takes only a majority vote to impeach. We could start with O'Connor, based on her latest outburst of silly comments. Just having the word "impeachment" on her record would deeply wound that pround and arrogant AZ woman. Obviously, the McCainiac Senate would never vote to convict, but getting her labeled with the "I" word is worth a lot in the PR battle.

There was a time, long ago, when O'Conner respected the US Constitution.
But she is clearly getting old and feeble-minded; going downhill fast.
Somebody who cares for her needs to convince her to step away.

You are correct. They serve for life, unless they are impeached. I believe they can be.Of course they can be impeached. Wasn't Abe Fortas impeached, or did he quit before he could be?

More needs to be done on this front. We need to take it to these people and tell them we will not stand for this ignoring of the Constitution. The "European 6" need to be impeached or the Constitutional Republic is dead. I am a Florida Type. I would like to see a group of us get together and bring our grievances about the European 6 to each of our representatives offices. This needs to get moving or lethargy will kill it.

It's almost ,as if, she is welcoming impeachment. Most likely, she is too arrogant to realize her treasonous remarks.

I hate to say this, but the only way this gets any traction is if, and this is opinion, Scalia initiates this through the WH.
He's going to have to walk in to the Oval Office and say, "This needs to be dealt with."
If not Scalia, you'll have to find a Senator or very powerful House member to take this to GWB.
If GWB makes it an issue, it will be an issue.
Right now, the base will vote R despite O'Connor.
I suspect that this will get more traction after Nov 2004. If the Senate and House pickups are as predicted, then it will be a different ball game, and R strategy will shift to preventing legislation by judicial activism, which will literally be the only avenue left to D's in terms of their influence.

Thanks, David for your support.
This is one of the most serious crimes in a century.
It only proves how far and how deep we are in trouble, as a country. People like O'Connor and the rest of the Supreme's , are anti-America. Just like all of the Democrats.
No matter what you call them, Communists, Nazis, Socialists, or Liberals, they hate America and want it changed to whatever they have been brainwashed to believe.
