Sean Hannity has a scoop on dem party corruption (Vanity)
Sean Hannity radio show ^ | 11/04/03 | Unknown Democrat (via Sean Hannity)

Is anyone listening to Hannity? He just read a memo from a dem party staffer (i think) on the select committe on intelligence (or some such), which, as he describes it, shows the the dem committe members are pre-planning a political assault on the pres. and care nothing for our security, which is their job.

He's acting like this is the hottest scoop since I don't know what, I'm at work so I'm only 1/2 listening, plus he read the whole thing which seemed to be a least 2 pages long, a little tough to follow being in beaurocrat-speak.

Is this really important? And will this story grow legs?

Reread post #36. If this is true, this is treason.

It's an innuendo tactic and fishing expedition.

Up to what? All I see is that the Dems are trying to make the Administration look bad, calling for investigations into Rummy, Wolfie, etc. Politics as usual. Not treason. No illegality as far as I can see. Maybe there's a lot more to this memo than has been posted.

Agree, I don't see anything out of the ordinary. The Dems hate Bush & are desperately hunting for ammo. This is big news, Hannity?

It's big:

A memo circulated among Democrats on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence shows the committee's minority plotting to use classified information against the White House in next year's presidential campaign.

The Swine changed her view on Iraq yesterday.
Sounds like she got her marching orders from SF/Pelosi/Willy Brown.

The Senate (and the House) have committees to deal with re-election and the political stuff. Why was the Intell Committee doing this?

They're using Americas intell info against Bush. It's not just policy, but info that could aid the enemy.

Yeah....that's what I was wondering....why the "INTEL Committee" would be doing this.....kinda looks stupid, to me. Especially writing it down....sheesh.

It's more likely he won't say because it will reveal who leaked it.

I dont think you understand the mission of the Intelligence Committee. The mere fact that they admit that they intend to use ANY information, classified or declassified, towards an attack on the President is treasonous. That information is ONLY shared with members for the purpose of insuring the security of the nation.

Any other use of that information violates the principle of "need-to-know". If the intent, is to use information against the president, then it is information that they do NOT "need-to-know", and therefore they are mis-using security information, which is a Federal Violation.

If Ashcroft wishes to pursue this matter, it could be HUGE.
