Is anyone listening to Hannity? He just read a memo from a dem party staffer (i think) on the select committe on intelligence (or some such), which, as he describes it, shows the the dem committe members are pre-planning a political assault on the pres. and care nothing for our security, which is their job.

He's acting like this is the hottest scoop since I don't know what, I'm at work so I'm only 1/2 listening, plus he read the whole thing which seemed to be a least 2 pages long, a little tough to follow being in beaurocrat-speak.

Is this really important? And will this story grow legs?

None of this means a thing. I have been on the phone all morning and afternoon with all of the Republican leadership offices. I got a lukewarm response at best from Kit Bonds office, who is on that committee! The mainstream press hasnt picked it up and spinless Frist's office didnt even know what I was taking about. This story will be dead by tomorrow.

wow, thanks for the update. I just composed a letter to my state RAT Durbin. Just gotta let it set and percolate a while, tweak it a bit and will start sending it off to his 4 offices. Actually I'm to be in Springfield on Friday, I might just hand deliver that one! :^D
