Sean Hannity has a scoop on dem party corruption (Vanity)
Sean Hannity radio show ^ | 11/04/03 | Unknown Democrat (via Sean Hannity)

Posted on 11/04/2003 1:27:18 PM PST by jocon307

Is anyone listening to Hannity? He just read a memo from a dem party staffer (i think) on the select committe on intelligence (or some such), which, as he describes it, shows the the dem committe members are pre-planning a political assault on the pres. and care nothing for our security, which is their job.

He's acting like this is the hottest scoop since I don't know what, I'm at work so I'm only 1/2 listening, plus he read the whole thing which seemed to be a least 2 pages long, a little tough to follow being in beaurocrat-speak.

Is this really important? And will this story grow legs?

I had an argument with a democrat today at my University about the "Bush Lied To Get Us Into War" today. I told him (and the others listening, quite a few, in fact) that Bush said EXACTLY what Clinton said in 1998, and 1999, and Joe Liebermann, and Algore, and Madeline Albright, and all the rest of the Dem politicos. You coulda heard a pin drop after that. They had no way to respond. I also re-emphasized the 9/11 attacks, and what were we supposed to do, sit around and wait for Saddam to give Al Qeada a weapon to kill American civilians with? And all this AFTER Clinton said what he said?

The Dem actually agreed I had a good point!

It might get carried carefully worded with a headline about the Bush Mishandled IRAQ, and whispers of the rest.

IMHO...I think this was leaked to stop the hanky panky on the committee.....look what the memo states about getting Roberts to roll over on an investigating of Rumsfeld...

This blunts the RATS and it blunts the RINO's into going along with the RATS.

Without trying to sound ridiculous, in "retort" to your question......

I honestly believe the most Democrats are unable to follow anything unless it's written down and/or repeated over and over and over, like a mantra. They are like lemmings. They are incapable of independent thought. They form groups, and subgroups, so that they can always follow someone. They write memos so they can follow the someone with him/her being nearby. They cannot remember things without writing them down because they're afraid they won't "conform" to the group's expectations. They have, in short, become unable to think independently or coherently. Perhaps this sounds overly ridiculous and exaggerated, but when was the last time you heard a Democrat question group think? When was the last time you heard a Democrat disagree with or condemn another Democrat?

I did, last night, Zell Miller. And that's the only Democrat I've ever heard tell the truth.

And it will cost the tax payers $$$$$$$$$!!! in additional "investigations."

I don't give a rat's ass about the cost as long as we get the Rat's ass who is guilty.

Did you hear the Rockefeller memo said someone took the memo out of the trash??? That must mean it was in 97's crusty pantsuit pocket.

"We need to work in a bipartisan manner."

Bipartisan....another one of those words in liberalese, roughly translated: we need to make everybody see it OUR way.

I don't care about the cost of investigating this. It's a real memo. It should be looked into.
I mean the fake investigations the Dems want against Bush . Clinton said the same thing, so wouldn't we have to investigate that too? Why stop at Bush?

I dunno. I hope not.

Roberts didn't sound too pleased. His BP was definitely elevated.

Time will tell.

"He said the reason he's on with Sean right now is because his phone started ringing off the hook and he was told by another member that he'd better get on with Sean to clear the air."

Well, that right there says that it rattled enough cages to get SOMEBODY trying to run damage control. It isn't like these people make a habit of calling into talk shows.

Brit had this on his show tonight and said that Roberts, the rather dense Rep. senator from Kansas, had called Jay Rockefeller to his office and read him the riot act. Brit read a statement from Rockefeller that said that was an "unauthorized" memo that someone must have dug out of the garbage or gotten off a computer, but he didn't deny that it existed...very telling. The Republicans ought to roast the dems on this one, but will they?
