"Does marijuana help people with MS?

Even if it doesn't, you can bet that is the excuse he will use.

Not really but MrLeroy would probably claim it did.

Does marijuana help people with MS?

Sure, like LSD helps the pilots smooth out their landings.

"The use of marijuana to treat any illness remains highly controversial. Some people with MS claim that smoking marijuana helps relieve spasticity and other MS-related symptoms. However, there is little evidence to date that marijuana really works. Research is ongoing to answer this important question. Until more is known, doctors do not recommend the use of marijuana to treat MS as the drug is associated with serious long-term side effects such as heart attack or memory loss."

Does marijuana help people with MS?

I would think so, if it helps with pain. I have an Aunt with MS and she is in pain all of the time.

Does marijuana help people with MS?

Yes it does. There are medical conditions that it does help. I wish it were legal for those patients. Suffering is suffering. I wouldn't want a loved one of mine to suffer when there is help out there. I wish our Government would just legalize it for these patients. From MS, to Arthritis, Aids, Cancer.. dying patients.. there are so many people who could benefit from this as a medicine.

I know when I worked hospice.. some of my families told me they used it. I know it helped them. Then in talking to people as I worked in medicine I found out patients would use it for pain or nausea control, for MS and for Arthritis or Aids, during Chemo for Cancer. I wish to God it were legal. I mean it. I really do.

"Does marijuana help people with MS?"

Supposed to. I know a really nice guy that has MS. I say let him smoke the stuff if it makes him feel better. He does not have much time left.

I have had MS for 5 yrs now. They(the doctors)have prescribed shots (from everyday to every other day), steroids(enough to make a body builder nervous), vitamins, and muscle relaxers (valium...darvon...etc) and still the muscle spasms were so intense I couldn't get more than a couple hours sleep at a time, which made the spasms worse. I was fast on the way to a wheelchair when a friend came by and wanted to smoke a little weed with me. I thought "what the h*ll" and I took a couple of drags off of the joint. My muscles began to relax and 2 or 3 minutes after my friend left I was sound asleep. I began to smoke right before I went to sleep every night. I quit taking the valium and the steroids and still I felt better. I told my Dr about my response to marijuana. He told me that , while he couldn't condone the use of a illegal "drug" , he thought I should do what ever helps me the most. After that long story my view is, I think if it's helping him at all and he's not selling it to children on the street corner we should just leave him alone.
