I do too. Don't get me wrong. I'm happy for the "progress" Dennis Miller has made. I'm grateful for that. But let's not kid ourselves into thinking he's a true conservative yet.

BTW, I've always thought Dennis Miller was clever, sharp, pretty funny--even before his "abrupt right turn." And I always enjoyed the guy whose act he's doing--namely, Mort Sahl. I don't mean that as a criticism of Miller. Miller does Mort Sahl; Letterman does Steve Allen; Carson did Bob Hope/Jack Benny/Fred Allen; Weird Al does Tom Lehrer/Stan Freberg/Allan Sherman/Spike Jones. We all have our inspirations.

This guy is what we need more of coming out of Karlifornia. He is a Barry Goldwater type of conservative. If it doesn't impede on your rights as an american, who cares! I disagree with him on the gun issue, but he mirrors how I feel on everything else. This is the type of platform that would cause landslides! I think that most of the people in Karlifornia don't particularly care too much for "Babs" Boxer and, if given the chance to vote for someone with the agenda that Miller touts, the state would have Republican representation in the Senate.
