So when the "majority" of Americans or residents of your state vote to ban all guns or deprive white males of life or tax you at 90% will you scream about "majority rule?"

We are a Republic, not a "mobocracy." Maybe if you were part of the small conservative minority here in New York, you could appreciate it.

The problem is with frivoulous lawsuits, not "minority rights."

I was referring to individuals such as O'Hare, Coleman, and the guy in California who wants the phrase "under God" removed from the Pledge of Alegence. He took it to court and got his way. No matter that more people thought otherwise. I'm saying that it seems that there are some individuals who pop up and have things changed to suit them. And they thumb their noses at those who outnumber them. I don't advocate a "mobocracy" but here in Shelby county, Tn, I know something of being in a small conservative minority. My point was, and is, that I am tired of individuals with agendas getting their way through court order. You are right the problem is with frivoulous lawsuits, not "minority rights."
