Rest assured, I wasn't casting stones. But I'm guessing there a lot of people who get Showtime as part of some "package" and have no idea how damaging it is.

That's the small picture? How big is the big picture? It would make a terrific wallpaper.

Contrary to what the reports say, the mini-series HAS NOT BEEN CANCELLED; IT HAS BEEN MOVED FROM CBS TO SHOWTIME.Don't let folks fool you. This movie is still being made.

Wonder what Sandra Day O'Connor and Anthony Kennedy think of the cancellation? Sandy is waiting for comments from France before she gives her opinion.
Gotta take international opinion into account, you know...

Cancel showtime and sell your Viacom stock.
Write to Viacom and tell them you will never buy their stock.

Yes, let the people speak up and be heard. Our voices are powerful. We have the right to speak out and we will continue to do so.
God bless our beloved former President and First Lady Ronald Reagan.
Seems to me the far left is awfully afraid of the former President and First Lady coupled with President and Mrs. George W. Bush. So, they tried to smear our former President in the hopes it would rub off on our current President. It failed and it failed BIG TIME.
These people are sick, disgusting, low life, nasty, cowardly and yellow to the core...(imagine doing something like that to someone in their nineties who can't even speak or fight back) each time I think this crowd can't sink any lower they go down deeper than the snakes belly and still need a ladder to reach the grass in order to reach the snakes belly.
God forgive these people. They have no agenda for the American people. They just pile on like a bunch of bullies in a schoolyard bashing the opposition. Only thing they never count on is the voice of the people. We have spoken and we have been heard!!!

I'm all for it, but there will be no end to the cries of censorship from the liberals. My thought exactly but of course they can't distinguish between good taste and "censorship."

How many viewers were tuned in, though, I wonder? A good share of a small pot is not anything to celebrate.

does nothing to stop Halmark's international distribution of this monstrosity. does nothing to stop viacom's blockbuster from distributing this.
CBS will as a producer will market this as a censored movie to austrailia nd europe.
Halmark must pay.

Zell Miller just said on MSNBC that he wishes they wouldn't even show it on Showtime!

In 1992 you made a passionate speech for AIDS Project Los Angeles in which you nailed all the people involved for not responding to the AIDS crisis appropriately. You talked about the homophobia involved and the terrible health crisis that mushroomed because of it. Can you update us on how you see people dealing with AIDS today, the drugs, the safe-sex issues, the good and bad human responses youve seen coming from your professional peers, friends, and family?
The Reagan years legitimized bigotry. AIDS, which even then affected as many if not more heterosexuals than homosexuals throughout the world, was dismissed as a gay disease with an official homophobic wink, implying that those deaths did not matter because of who was involved. Luckily for all of us, however, in 1992 there was a change in leadership, and with a new president came a new understanding of the need to fight this dreaded disease. In his time in office, President Clinton has made many changes in government policy toward the gay and lesbian community. He has appointed openly gay people to serve in his administration, has supported the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, and has increased funding for AIDS research and prevention programs.

DEVASTATED: Barbra has vowed to do anything and everything to help her only son.
Barbra Streisand is reeling from a devastating AIDS crisis -- her only son is infected with the HIV virus
Jason Gould, the diva's 36-year-old son by actor Elliott Gould, has been diagnosed with the virus -- and Barbra has vowed to do anything and everything to help him

It's a win-win -- the left will get to cry "Censorship!", "Chill Wind", "Right-Wing Agenda" ... the "Director's Cut" can air on Showtime complete with a "Behind the Scenes" look at the controversy, interview the stars, etc., all produced by CBS News. All 11 Democrat Showtime subscribers will watch it and love it.
Meanwhile, interest in Reagan generated by the controversy brings to light the fact-based stories on Reagan's accomplishments. And the attempted punch to the face of one our great presidents by a cabal of people with an obvious agenda educates the generally apolitical on exactly how far the Liberal Media-Industrial Complex will go to damage someone that opposes them, up to and including rewriting history.

Moonves did nothing but shuffle the chairs, there is nothing to thank because this leftist hit piece is going to europe and will slander reagan to the world. It will feed anti-americanism by the french, germans, and commies around the world.
Moonves should pay with his job.
To: BCrago66
Zell Miller is also against CBS's airing. And the Dems are having fits that he even is on stage with GWB:
