"EID-UL-ADHA" the "Feast of Sacrifice" is coming up on the Muslim calendar. Could be related to that? (Just guessing)
To: Velveeta
I'm assuming it's related to the Eid - the feast (Eid Al Adha) - but I can't figure out what the neigh of the horses is.

they have tons of detection equipment here of all kinds, including radiological. it would have to be stored outside the city right now, under a mosque in NJ in a shielded room or something.Yes, but do we know how "powerful" those detectors are? How far away do we have to be to find a loose nuke?
I think it's easier to "hide" one of these than we may first suspect.

For my own purposes, I'm attempting to summarize the last 2500 or so posts; a "Cliff's Notes" if you will:
1) Multiple flight cancellations involving BA, Air France, & AeroMexico over the holidays was due to specific intel obtained by US and Great Britain of a possible al Qaeda attack on NYC, DC, LA, east coast power plants, or Valdez, AK, despite "disinformation" by the French.
Great Britain is now hunting for 2 known al Qaeda terrorists in connection with above. Flights continue to be monitored closely, and BA pilots continue to balk at the thought of air marshals on flights.
2) The crash of an Egyptian jet into the Red Sea was quickly labeled a "mechanical malfunction" despite the fact that Tony Blair and his family were only miles away, and he was meeting with Mubarrak (sp?) that very afternoon. Never mind the fact that it takes weeks or even months to arrive at a cause after much investigation; Egyptian officials have this one all wrapped up in a matter of a few hours, before they've even begun to salvage the wreckage.
Today, an Islamic extremist group has claimed responsibility, but this claim has been pretty much ignored by mainstream media so far.
3) Cryptic messages continue to be posted on message boards known to be sympathetic to jihadi extremists. One particular find included pics of the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas (taken several years ago), a 747, & a blurry pic of the Staples Center in LA.
Another involves a bloody hand rising out of a map of Saudi Arabia; also on this map is eastern Egypt and the Red Sea.
4) A new message from Osama bin Laden has been broadcast by Al Jazeera (which aired only 14 minutes of his hour-long rant), urging his followers to continue the fight and making reference to the capture of Saddam Hussein. Particularly irksome to OBL is supposed cooperation of ME countries with the US. This tape has not yet been authenticated, & there is much speculation on either side of the issue as to whether OBL is still alive, although latest sources (CIA) say it is indeed him.
5) Much "digging" on the part of numerous FReepers has uncovered extensive underground tunnels/cave systems throughout much of the US. It has been noted that these tunnels/caves have been used for everything from smuggling of illegals into the US from Mexico, & bootlegging during Prohibition, to legitimate usage such as storage, electrical connectivity, the "Underground Railroad", etc.
Another astute Freeper has made the observation that several mosques in her area are located very close to known tunnels.
6) A Soviet official testified before Congress several years ago that it is highly likely that "suitcase nukes" have already been brought into this country. This same official died in a helicopter crash in Siberia.
7) In the last 2 weeks, there have been sizable earthquakes in California, Mexico, Bali, and Iran, with the 6.7 in Iran causing a loss of life upwards of 30,000 souls. And there is continued concern over the rise in groung temperature in Yellowstone. Along with a spectacular meteor shower viewed in Spain, as well as northern Iran.
8) Alert FReepers have noted a "spike" in the gold market, and are keeping close watch. By the end of today, it seemed to have leveled off, but bears watching, especially since al Qaeda posters had made specific references to gold.
9) Besides al Qaeda's known modus operandi involving airliners, it has been noted that other means/methods we need to consider are nuclear or biochemical attacks, and the possibility of attacks at/by sea.
10) A brochure has been published which points to a Pakistani company having offered nuclear intel for sale.
Please feel free to add to/correct my feeble summary.
My continued prayer is that we all remain ever vigilant.

The neigh of the horses may refer to a warning of sorts. Literally speaking, horses neigh to greet or warn each other. I can't think of anything else, but I'll do some googling.

Ya'all see the latest from MEMRI?
http://memri.org/bin/latestnews.cgi?ID=SA1404 Third Communique from 'Islamic Bayan Movement' Warns of an Upcoming Terrorist Attack: 'We Are Capable of Destroying an American City' A third communique attributed to the "Islamic Bayan Movement" threatening attacks in the U.S. was published on an Islamist Web site. The communique, titled "Very Urgent - From the Nation of Islam to the American People," was published at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/global-islamic-news/message/77 .
The new (third) communique, which was published today and is dated December 21, reads:
"We are serious in this warning. The next few days will prove to you this warning was genuine... This lying government knows well that we are capable, right now, of destroying an American city in its entirety. We repeat, in its entirety..."

"don't know if they have another tape or not but they only played 14 minutes of a 43 minute tape so one has to wonder what they are holding back."
More importantly, why aren't there any full transcripts of the 14 minutes portion with several translations as there were with other tapes? I challenge anyone here to quote the part where OBL mentions the capture of Saddam. Nowhere have I read that OBL mentions Saddam Hussein, only a generic statement.

Re your post #6751 where you said: "The search terms associated with Hamid,
http://www.twexus.com/?f=inf&ino=432745-BL has a woman laying on the floor? And look at the search terms below. Emirates Airlines?"
Interesting. Note the listing below the picture where it says: Exposure 223/32
I'm not a photographer, so 223 may indeed signify an exposure setting on a camera, and just coincidentally matches the suspect BA flights.

re post no. 6767...
Yep. I posted a link to that article somewhere today.
What astounds me, generally speaking, is the media, politicians, liberals, and mushroom type people, who ASSUME because we {and I quote) "HAVEN'T BEEN ATTACKED" that the jihadis/islamists/other assorted domestic terrorists ARE NOT TRYING TO ATTACK US! Just because they don't keep up with all the arrests and public intelligence is no reason for them to display their ignorance in public.
These people should get down on their knees (like the rest of us) and THANK GOD for His mercy, grace, and blessings to the U.S.A. And these people should thank LEO's and MILITARY, both here and abroad, for preventing attacks so far.
AND, just because we haven't been hit at home, doesn't mean we haven't been hit abroad (ie terrorist attacks that have killed American citizens in foreign countries).
Well, end of rant. Thank you.

Proper English when spoken well, is impressive. Your funny.
In this context, what you meant to write was "Proper English, when written well, is impressive."
Of course, even that is a bit silly since it is a redundant statement. Proper English is by definition well-spoken or well-written.
Also, the proper' phrase is "You're funny," instead of "Your funny."
Calpernia asked a legitimate question. He or she knows you aren't an American-born English speaker. Why not simply answer the question? There is no need to be ashamed or evasive.
