For those who have an interest in the subject, the book "The Templar Revelation" 1997, Touchstone press by Lynn Pickett and Clive Prince deals in detail with the Leonardo Da Vinci code and other topics related to the Templars and Mary Magdalene in France.
The book expands themes developed in "Holoy Blood, Holy Grail" and the "Messianic Conspiracy".
The authors are British and it is notable that an essentially British line of scholarship under way for perhaps 20 years has made mainstream American TV.

I'll have to check that book out, mainly because of the authors.
They wrote "The Turin Shroud". When I first read their claim that daVinci most likely created the Shroud I was hysterical with laughter.
Doggone it, they made a pretty fair case. The real miracle of the Shroud, IMHO, is that it IS the world's first photograph.
Old daVinci probably stumbled on a way to "fix" the image during his alchemy experiments.
If Clive and Pickins are as detailed in the Templars book, it will be interesting reading.
Thanks.
