Why can't any of you at least SEE another side. YES, the tragedy happened to him too. You would be more credible if you offered up arguments that weren't 100% emotion driven.

Michael Schiavo was a penny pincher who kept track of the mileage on his wife's car and yelled at her for spending money on haircuts, they said. It sounds like whatever life Terri did have with him was quite miserable. She couldn't even have haircuts?

We might be tempted to see another side if there was not money involved, and Michael had not sworn, on the stand, during the trial, he would spend his life taking care of his wife. Plus, isn't it a little creepy he is with another woman, has a child, while his wife is in a persistent vegetative state?

NIce try, Hildy, but no cigar soup for you!... You would be more credible if you offered up arguments that weren't 100% emotion driven.Hildy Of the $750,000 placed in trust for Terri's rehabilitation therapy and maintenance, how much has her 'loving husband' spent on rehabilitation therapy for Terri? And how much has his freindly judge, Greer, authorized to be paid to the death watch atty, Felos? And how many children has Michael Schiavo sired with other women while still married to Terri? And ... oh, never mind. Your heart is so dead, nothing will penetrate the darkness.

A neruologist, who examined Terri and looked at her previous medical record said on FoxNews that Terri absolutely did NOT have a heart attack, but there was "trauma to the neck" or something to that effect.
Sounds to me like her dear husband tried to strangle her, but she survived, then he sued the doctors, and got $250K for HIMSELF, and $750K for Terri's medical care, then AFTER he had the money in hand, he "suddenly remembered" that Terri told him that she wouldn't want to live in a coma ( which he never mentioned before to anyone).
Read the article again, carefully, please, before jumping to his defense.

I watched him on Larry King Live.
He will not allow CNN cameras in her room. He will not take a lie detector test.
He said yes he had one little girl with his new honey but negleted to say she was fixin to pop another. She did a day or so later.
Then he negleted to say that he had put his house and other stuff in the other woman's name. The woman he has been living with, that he says they have no plans to marry.
Just DANG!

"You would be more credible if you offered up arguments that weren't 100% emotion driven." Okay, the simple version: it is WRONG to KILL a person, no matter who you are or for what reason. Starvation and dehydration is killing. Food is NOT medical treatment. We can't starve and dehydrate animals nor criminals on death row because it is considered cruel. Why should it be acceptable to starve a disabled person who is neither dying and who has committed no crime?

YES, the tragedy happened to him too I might tend to agree if he weren't so bloody obsessed with the money and material things, and actually demonstrated that he cared a whit what happened to her beyond how much of his money she's used up.
Sure, cheap and murderer aren't synonymns. But when Cheap becomes Controlling there's a huge connection there.

Curious here, Hildy - what do you have to say about the fact that he's now living with his girlfriend and has had two children by her? Isn't that the least bit unusual? Or is that ok because of the condition his wife is in?
