One reason for this could also be the threat of boycotted sponsors, like Hallmark. Saw an ad tonight for an upcoming Hallmark Hall of Fame movie scheduled for late November on CBS.
All I could think was how apoplectic Hallmark must be at the prospect of losing conservative customers :o)

My understanding is that Hallmark has made contributions to anti-gun organizations. They shouldn't have any conservative customers.

All I could think was how apoplectic Hallmark must be at the prospect of losing conservative customers :o)Well, I went in yesterday and cancelled my order for $200 worth of Christmas cards. I've been buying from the same Hallmark store for years. I told that that I knew it wasn't really their fault, but I really couldn't support a company that would distribute a film like that to the international community. I said it adds to the anti-Americanism that we're all facing and a company that would contribute in that manner should not be supported by American dollars.
