yeah, I figure the mention of an assasination attempt will automatically bolster support for the President and of course no serious leftist will EVER want that to happen eh?
Heck, I'm still pissed at Dan Rather of CBS who was broadcasting the President's location on 9/11 when it was supposed to be a guarded secret, but shit these so-called journalist DO get away with murder all the time :(

Stand Back, Stand Back from the Drudge Report
Police officers keep back reporters during security scare outside of the arena where President Bush was speaking in Southaven, Miss., Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003. A car penetrated the security perimeter around the arena where President Bush was speaking Saturday and rammed the building. Authorities swarmed the vehicle. Fewer than five minutes after the car crashed at a slow speed into a loading dock area at the arena, Bush's motorcade left for his next stop, in Paducah, Ky. (AP Photo/Charles Dharapak)

Oh please.....everytime something that someone wants to have been a terrorist attack turns out not to be immediately we get all the "IT WAS A TEST!" or "IT WAS A PROBE!" comments.
Besides being a result of wishful thinking, it's non-sensical; it's counterproductive to any terrorist group to test a "weakness" in an obvious, public way with a non-attack. The terrorists learn and accomplish nothing and the weakness is likely immediately plugged.
The 9/11 hijackers DID do dry-runs, except they were completely secret.

I am not sure that it was a deliberate act. My personal opion is that she just lost it, propably just trying to get around the temporary road blocks being set up in preparation for the President's departure. She must have taken the side street which unfurtunately directly led to the event building. Like I said earlier she seemed very disturbed.

One problem when one attempts to satirize loons is it's awfully hard to detect the satire :-).
On the thread about the Atlantic City garage collapse I'm still not entirely sure whether the person claiming it was a Ramadan attack on "decadent" casinos was kidding or not.

I will pipe up. Speaking from experience, I have seen a radical leftist Bush hater charge Bush's motorcade in my town of KC. He got pretty close to one of the limos before security took him and gave him a beat down.

Yes, but there was another car that approached from a grassy knoll.I my gosh, you saw it too! During the past 30 minutes, I have feverishly downloaded video taken by security camera at a "Zapruder Fast Stop" convienience store across the street from the event. (I guess you did too) I have digitized, slowed-down and blown-up the video, and I am amazed at what I found. It is a bit grainy I admit, but I can make out an old El Cameo with a "Baby Doll's" bumper sticker, another damaged one that says "Humphrey For Presi...", and here is where it really gets weird, the car was driven from the grassy knoll by a woman, and there is a Chappaqua, NY license-plate frame on the car!!

>She had two young
kids in her car who were yelling "Please Mom stop". After she drove around the second car the chase begun.
Sounds like she wasn't
wearing enough tin foil, and
zap rays took her mind...

Also: a "twang" would not get "thicker"--a drawl like Barbour's might get thicker but a twang would merely becfome more pronounced. Not only is AP biased, they are also stupid.
