Did you hear that
dumb@$$ liberal, Jane Hall, talking about the legislature "injecting" itself into the situation? Some of these people should either get a clue or shut the h*ll up! The people put pressure on their legislators and the governor to ACT and they did. What is it about OF the people, BY the people and FOR the people do these historically challenged, neurologically stagnant pod people not understand? I like the comment that the other guy made, what's his name (Jim Pinkerton?), that Schiavo was like a low-grade Scott Peterson. Dead on.

I liked Jim's comment, too, but what he didn't state is that instead of killing her like Scott (probably) did, Schiavo is doing it in broad daylight with the blessing of the courts.
The pertinent fact not being stated by the media is that TERRI IS NOT DYING UNTIL THEY TAKE SUSTENANCE FROM HER!
(I had to say probably, since he hasn't been convicted)

Legislatures have traditionally injected themselves into situations.
Legislatures exist in order to interject themselves into our daily lives.
Child protection laws. Animal protection laws. Environmental laws. Laws about licensing. Laws about hours liquor stores can be open. Laws about drugs. Laws about horn honking. Laws about selling door-to-door. Laws about school attendance.
You name it....some legislature has probably voted on it.
