Hi Colleen! Yes, I did. It was a relaxing and peaceful week.

I became attached to the beautiful horses on the adjoining property and had a hard time leaving them. There was a Palomino, a Pinto and Shetland pony...and a two year old chestnut mare that I particularly bonded with. I know she must be pining for me, but my cousin says that her attachment to me was solely for the carrots I would bring her. LOL. Not true!

The only problem I have with ranch life is, everything is dirty and dusty...especially in CA where it doesn't rain all summer. But I'm sure I would get used to it after a while.

How's your pup? Still doing okay?

Hi nic. Glad to have you back too! I couldn't believe the difference when we got cable. The only problem is I didn't realize how many telemarketing calls we were missing while I was online LOL!

Hi Russ. I read your update on Russ yesterday. He sounds like quite the fighter and will face rehab. with determination. Continued prayers for him and his family. (how are his kids doing?)

No, but they would have loved it up there. They are not good travelers. They stayed home with JK (although they were quite concerned that he wouldn't be able to take care of them properly. They were sure that he didn't even know where their treats were). LOL

But, JK is such a soft touch, I know the boyz got lots of extra TLC and twice the treats under his care.

I missed you all too! It's wonderful to get away, but it is great to come back home again. I think I am here to stay until after the holidays. :-)

Hi Colleen. Sounds like a fun trick or treat night with the nieces and nephews. It's so wierd here....trick or treat was LAST Thursday (like over a week ago)...I think maybe to beat the changeover to daylight savings maybe (????) We're in a small subdivision in the country and would get tons of "country kids" being driven in by their parents. Had tons of candy and this year we only had 6 kids. It was such a let down...plus...I've been on a chocolate buzz ever since.
