[history]
The protectors of the Reagan legacy are in full cry.
Critics who believe former President Ronald Reagan is portrayed unfairly in CBS' "The Reagans," a miniseries scheduled for broadcast Nov. 16 and 18, have challenged the network and its advertisers to either revise or abandon the project, which they consider a partisan hatchet job and a distortion of history.

My Letter (feel free to copy and paste):
Dear CBS:
I am writing to inform you of my intent to tune out your network entirely on November 16th and 18th, the dates you will be airing your TV mini-series "The Reagans". The reviews seem to confirm that this is nothing more than a leftist attack on President Reagan's legacy and this is outrageous. Please think twice next time you decide to produce and air such anti-American garbage.
Contemptuously,
Jon Alvarez

I just heard a Chris Matthews make sense."Reagan was a big man and shouldn't be portrayed by a show put together by a bunch of midgets."
Bump! Amazing Chris made any sense -g-

Thx...I hope everyone is prepared for the worse...TV pundits seem to think this will be a ratings bonanza for CBS,(I think they are wrong, it will be a dismal failure as most will tune CBS out.) So if they do air it, despite the majority in America that don't want them to, and it's the slap in the face we all think it will be, are we prepared to bid CBS farewell? I am. That means no more CSI, no more Survivor. However, it also would be a way to send a powerful message to liberals, very similar to the one the Dixie Chicks received...We ain't buying.

Bump for your post. Contractually, Target may not be able to back out of CBS, but they can ensure no Target ad runs during the show.
What we should eventually see as ads during the broadcast would be Ben & Jerry's, and maybe Nike.
What really confuses me is Streisand is Jewish: do the majority of Jews hate Reagan?
This whole saga sickens and depresses me.

are we prepared to bid CBS farewell?
As much as I hate saying goodbye to some of the shows,(in my letter-You have some good programming, what a shame), but we showed MCI and they are filing Chapter 11, we know our power and CBS is fairly warned!
