I shudder to think what we might soon become without lawyers

If you are an attorney, you are way too full of yourself. Otherwise you would have a better understanding of what most people think of attorneys and more importantly, why. If you are not an attorney, you need to get out more.

As I heard it, the corporation consciously decided that the costs of litigation on injuries was going to be less than the costs of retrofitting defective coffee urns, and they foolishly opted to play cheap on fixing the defective equipment.

Well, I'm a hard nosed and crusty old youknowwhat at times, but if it comes to such a point I'll eat my words. I might be wrong about some of what I've said, at least in regards to McDonald's. If this is true, then yeah, that's way too damned hot!

But the feelings in general about lawyers, re: Overlawyered.com, still stands. ;)

People like to make fun of lawyers until they need one. It comes with the territory.

The lawyers who get famous are often the ones who give the profession a bad name. For every one of them, there are thousands who never even step foot into a courtroom, but provide advice to keep their clients from ever setting foot there, either.

Jefferson was a lawyer

He might have been, but he made his money in dry cleaning. That's why he was only able to move on up to the east side at a later stage in life than a law partner might have. That's how he was able to create the George Jefferson Museum (with Japanese tourists visiting of course.)

Media Bypass, huh?

And I would've guessed Lyndon LaRouche.

The BAR Association stands for British Accredited Registry which is controlled and owned by the "The Crown" in the City of London which is privately owned by the Rothschild family.

Media Bypas (owned by, I think, Paul Hall) may be your source, but are you a friend of David Icke, by any chance? I was going to ask also if you had any dealings with Lyndon LaRouche, but found that LaRouche is still obsessed that Prince Phillip and the House of Windsor (non-Jews) run the world, and doesn't mention any Rothschild creation & direction of the American Bar Association. Icke is right up your alley, though. Hoo boy, does he hate lawyers!

Icke

The American Bar Association was founded by the Rothschild banking family in 1870, in Indiana. All members of the Judiciary and 71% of all legislatures, federal, state and local, are Bar Association members. This places at least two branches of our government under their control. This is a conflict of interest.

The Rothschild family runs "the state bar"....of California? Or of all 50 states?

Well, that's par for the course, because the Rothschilds are...well...you know.

Well, I'm indebted to one helpful Freeper who recently shared with me a story which might help put all this in perspective:

One afternoon, a wealthy lawyer was riding in the back of his limousine when he saw two pathetic men eating grass by the road side. He ordered his driver to stop and he got out to investigate, and asked, "Why are you eating grass ?"

"We don't have money for food," the first man replied.

"Oh, well, you can come with me to my house," insisted the lawyer.

"But, sir, I got a wife and three kids here."

"Bring them along !" replied the lawyer.

"But how about my friend ?"

The lawyer turned to the other man and said, "You come with us, too."

"But, sir,! I got a wife and six kids !"

"Bring them as well !" answered the lawyer as he headed for his limo.

They all climbed into the car, and once underway, one of the poor fellows says: "Sir, you are too kind. Thank you for taking all of us with you."

The lawyer replied, "Glad to do it. You'll love my place. The grass is almost a foot tall."

The perp should have used something with a bit more firepower.

He may as well been shooting the guy with a pea-shooter.......the lawyer seemed completely unaffected by the shots. Must've been a .22 revolver, which is not something one would use to kill someone (although it certainly would do the trick if the bullet(s) hit the vitals).

I met a Rothschild once at a party in L.A., and I asked him (after downing a few martinis) if his family really did rule the world, and if I could somehow get in on the scheme (being Jewish and all). He laughed and said he'd see what he could do.

....Still waiting for that phone call ;)

Thank you for your input. I suggest that everybody read below:

AS PER THE UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT;

A. The practice of Law CAN NOT be licensed by any state/State Schware v. Board of Examiners, 353 U.S. 238, 239

B. The practice of Law is AN OCCUPATION OF COMMON RIGHT! Sims v. Aherns, 271 S.W. 720 (1925) II. The "CERTIFICATE" from the State Supreme Court:

1. ONLY authorizes,

A. To practice Law "IN COURTS" As a member of the STATE JUDICIAL BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT.

B. Can ONLY represent WARDS OF THE COURT.

2. INFANTS

3. PERSONS OF UNSOUND MIND SEE CORPUS JURIS SECUNDUM, VOLUME 7, SECTION 4.

4. A. "CERTIFICATE" IS NOT A LICENSE....

A. To practice Law AS AN OCCUPATION.

B. Nor to DO BUSINESS AS A LAW FIRM!!! III. The "STATE BAR" CARD IS NOT A LICENSE!!!

A. It is a "UNION DUES CARD"

B. The "BAR" is a "PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION."

1. Like the Actors Union, Painters Union, etc.

2. No other association, EVEN DOCTORS, issue their own license. ALL ARE ISSUED BY THE STATE.

C. It is a NON-GOVERNMENTAL PRIVATE ASSOCIATION. 1. See Attorney General Dan Morales' letter. 2. As per this letter; the State does not issue licenses and they are not issued by his office!

IV. The State Bar is;

A. An Unconstitutional Monopoly, Article 1, Section 26, Texas Bill of Rights.

B. A ILLEGAL & CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE;

C. Violates Article 2, Section 1, Separation of Powers clause of the Constitution.

D. There is NO POWER OR AUTHORITY for joining of Legislative, Judicial, or Executive as the BAR and SUPREME COURT OF TEXAS are doing. ALL MEMBERS OF BOTH ARE MONOPOLISTIC BAR MEMBERS!

E. In violation of the RIGHT TO WORK LAWS of Texas. V. State Bar Rules. . . at Article III, Section 2. . . Enrollment in the State Bar: "Each person who becomes licensed to practice law is REQUIRED TO ENROLL IN THE STATE BAR WITHIN 10 DAYS "BEFORE" OR "AFTER" RECEIVING A LICENSE TO PRACTICE LAW. ENROLLMENT IN THE BAR AND LICENSE ARE NOT THE SAME. THE BAR CAN NOT LICENSE ANYONE!!!!! It is quite simple to see that a great fraud and conspiracy has been perpetrated on the people of Texas and America. The American Bar is an offshoot from London Lawyers' Guild and was established by people with treasonous goals in mind. They have accomplished 98% of their goals. ---------------------------------------------------------

Any Judge, Government Agent, or Bureaucrat Who Had Sworn to Uphold the Constitution for the United States Who is Violating that Oath is Guilty of Treason.

The Penalty is still DEATH BY HANGING.

You are weighed in the balance and are found wanting. Daniel 5:27

Woe, unto you lawyers! for ye have taken away the key to knowledge; ye entered [the Kingdom of God] not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye [have] hindered. Luke 11:52

If the guy had gotten a head shot or hit him in the spine, he would've dropped like a rock. That the lawyer was able to take some steps meant he was able to keep going until the blood started flowing. Once he had some blood loss--and the adrenalin stopped pumping--he slowly went down. He was shot in the neck and it did look like he was hit in the upper torso. We probably won't get a report on his condition until tomorrow.
