The perp should have used something with a bit more firepower. He may as well been shooting the guy with a pea-shooter.......the lawyer seemed completely unaffected by the shots. Must've been a .22 revolver, which is not something one would use to kill someone (although it certainly would do the trick if the bullet(s) hit the vitals).

If the guy had gotten a head shot or hit him in the spine, he would've dropped like a rock. That the lawyer was able to take some steps meant he was able to keep going until the blood started flowing. Once he had some blood loss--and the adrenalin stopped pumping--he slowly went down. He was shot in the neck and it did look like he was hit in the upper torso. We probably won't get a report on his condition until tomorrow.

There are a lot of corpses in graveyards who would be surprised to learn that a .22 revolver is not something one would use to kill someone.
