Why would the fact that Jesus was possibly married upset anyone, besides Catholic Priests of course?
What is the problem with it, it just shows that God coming as human wished to experience all of life as a human being.
What's the big deal? He's still the son of God, right? He's still your Savior, right?
So, what are some of you getting all upset about?

Weren't you the same knucklehead that abhorred any conversation having to do with G-D when talking about creation? IIRC, you were virulently anti-interest in anything re:G-D, but now you have a great interest in knocking it?

Why would the fact that Jesus was possibly married upset anyone, besides Catholic Priests of course? There is no "fact"....it's a load. Why wasn't she mentioned in the Bible? Did he divorce her? If he was married---then the New Testament is highly fallible. You don't see how that might "upset" Christians? Or do you just like to pick on them?

Okay, I don't want to make light of a serious topic... but let me make light of a serious topic. Let's say definitive proof comes out that Jesus was married. Can you imagine the reaction of the priests who spent their lives bypasing opportunities to make love, to adhere to their vows of celibacy?
"crestfallen" wouldn't even begin to describe it. :( ;)

Jesus is married....to the church. The Bible is full of passages that depict Christ as the bridegroom and the church as his bride.
