October 31, 2003 -- THERE'S no getting around it: Life is getting a whole lot better for Americans and a whole lot worse for the Democrats running for president.

The huge national economic growth spurt announced yesterday came as a thrilling surprise even to Bush stalwarts. One former key economic adviser told me on Tuesday that he was all excited because he believed the growth rate would be 6 percent. Instead, it was 7.2 percent - which means it was 15 percent greater than even this cockeyed optimist had hoped for.

The Dimbulbs have already started spinning the news. I expect soon they'll claim "the unemployment rate among 3-4 year olds is 100%".

The truck drivers are calling into local radio show and telling us that their business has really picked up. One of the first signs of business revival. Jobs will soon follow if this keeps up.

The left will be panicking. If we think they've been sounding nuts before... we ain't heard nothing yet.

Its okay. Sure, they can't use the economy anymore (although I have a feeling that they can somehow spin it that the recovery isn't Bushes fault), but the left will simply blame everything else on Bush. You know, things like dogs hating cats is Bushes fault. The reason penguins can't fly is Bushes fault. Or why the weather isn't purfect is Bushes fault. There are still plenty of things the left can blame Bush for. ;-)

The left will be panicking.

Desperate times call for desperate acts.

Recent "Living History"

1) GOP Bush wins the Presidency:
New York, Home of Dem. Hillary, hit by terrorists on 9-11.

Remember how upset Hillary was when President Bush handled the situation with grace and inspired the nation?

(Do you think Hillary thought Bush would tumble after 9/11?)

2)GOP Arnold voted Calif. Governor
Calif, Home of Dem. Davis, hit by arson and fire.

How lucky for the left, that the nation and media were
so quickly distracted from noting this important Democrat
loss in California by the raging Arson fires in California.

Yes, the left is in a panic.

Now lets not presume the worst of the Dems, we have to be tolerant... although if we presume the worst we're usually right.

If this was just politics, I could
be tolerant.

But, it's more than politics,
this is a fight to save America
from enemies who are fighting from the
inside to take us down.

America stands for something grand
and sweet. Liberty and freedom, And
there are countries and governments
who resent that.

They resent that their own people might
strive for freedom and deprive the "divine
ones" from ruling them!

Who is the "divine one" in our country,
who craves power and more power?

How about...

Hillary Diane "The Divine One" Clinton

The fire is not distracting from Arnold's win, it's focusing on it. Arnold's not even the actual Governor yet, and he's getting a lot of attention for his efforts, visiting fire locations (even KFI said that reporters found that he had been going around all day to fire places without publicity before reporters realized it - not like a politician would do.), going to Washington, etc. Davis makes a photo op visit at a fire location, making sure the cameras are on him at all times, looks completely stupid in a plaid shirt, and whines about how he asked the Bush administration for help but they didn't listen. This only shows what a good thing the recall was!

.....to increase the yearly tax deduction for children by 40 percent, from $600 to $1,000

Another stupid journalist -- that's a 67% increase, not 40%.
