We're at the halfway mark in the season. What was it--week 3 when Rush started taking heat? I cannot remember.

Rush's point was never that McNabb was a lousy quarterback. His point was that McNabb was a single contributor to a balanced, talented team that's won more games this decade than any other -- and that the media overvalued his contribution on the basis of his race.

Whatever Donovan does this season has no bearing on the merits of Rush's statement. The seven games the Eagles played without McNabb in 2002 (when the team went 6-1)proved the veracity of Rush's thesis already.

Marvin Lewis (losing record and all) and Tony (Choker) Dungy are the greatest head coaches in the NFL; and Tom Jackson, Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin are the greatest football analysts.
