Remember, there are lawyers working to save Terri, too.
I didn't mean the criminal justice system, I meant the civil system, where Michael sued the doctors, and where the doctors lawyers should have uncovered other causes for her condition.

In every profession there are honest folks and there are dishonest folks.
The reasons behind a lack of investigation in criminal cases is bigger than the individuals involved. Since it would take three threads to explain, and would completely distract us from the issue at hand, the brief summary is "Blame the Democrats". (LOL)

Parsing for clarity, or for legality?
I purposely grouped the "justice system" as a system.
Only a dishonest lawyer would attempt to separate the criminal from the civil, as if they were actually separate and distinct entities, from the justice system.
Sure lawyers are working on Terri's side.
That is the system, is it not?
A close knit elitist debating society, that is divorced from the actual consequences of their actions in actual human reality.
1.Vote NO, everytime, every chance, everywhere on judicial retention.
2.Never elect any lawyer to public office, not even as dogcatcher.
In ten years, we might have our country back.

Wonder when, exactly, that underwriter went out of business. Was it directly after this trial, or much later?

"I meant the civil system, where Michael sued the doctors, and where the doctors lawyers should have uncovered other causes for her condition." Okay, this is pure speculation based on the seemingly tightly woven network of corruption surrounding the death industry in Florida, but suppose that some of the insurers backed off on purpose. I mean, if people who are getting too costly to maintain are being systematically eliminated in Florida, as some have proposed, then what's the big deal about paying out a settlement in a case such as this? Might have just been a favor to Greer, or one of the other players. I mean, if they were getting regular "referrals" they were probably saving a bundle.
Yeah, yeah. I know. I'm going for the industrial strength tinfoil now.
