Just saw some of this footage on Foxnews. Had to shut off the tube.

BTW, can't find this info anywhere else but Fox. But even when they get the tape and/or info - will NBC, ABC, etc. reveal it?

....and a man being humiliated by riding a donkey backwards. O Please! not the donkey!!
To: anniegetyourgun
I can't watch it either and am rather disappointed they're showing it.
Those naysayers who were against the war and blind to Saddam's atrocities from the get go will not be convinced by this tape.
They can toss bound bodies off rooftops all day long and the peace queers will just look the other way.
I think Fox is diminished by this whole episode.

The link to the pics doesn't work. I wonder what the dems will have to say about this.....human right abuses are bad but those abuses by the oppressive U.S. military are worse?? I wouldn't doubt it!

And this is the regime that the Democrats wish we had left alone? They need to be made to watch all the tapes and tour the dungeons.

I understand Rummy will be reacting to this video this afternoon.
To: billorites

One of daughters (just turned 6) said war is bad, and we should stop the war. I said yes, war is bad, but sometimes it needs to happen. She said the good people should just leave, and then the bad people won't have anyone to shoot at.
I said that would stop the war. But the bad people that ran Iraq used to put innocent people in prison just because they didn't like the person's ideas or religion. They would torture them, kill their families, and kill them. And the bad people were helping other bad people like the ones that crashed the airplanes into the buildings. I asked her what she thought the good people should do in cases like that. She said the good people should go after the bad people and fight them.
I said yes, but only after trying to talk with them a bit - it's called diplomacy. But when words and peace treaties don't work, then sometimes we have to fight wars. But wars are bad, and we should try our hardest not to get in wars.
If only the war protestors on the street could have the quick understanding of a six-year old!

They don't care though. They know Iraq was a dangerous place and its government infringed on the civil liberties of its citizens but Bush is president. I mean that is their answer for everything. "I disagree because **** is president."

Just saw some of this footage on Foxnews. Had to shut off the tube. Yeah, this is one of those occassions where the words don't do the video justice. Horrendous.

BTW, can't find this info anywhere else but Fox. Is there a media blackout of this? I shouldn't be, but I'm surprised. I don't know if they'll be able to get away with this in the internet age.

Democrats value system is only 1-way: when it fits their agenda - they don't stand up for the values of human rights when it goes against their liberal agenda (take abortion as a prime example)...They would rather save the whales and trees and let babies die and people's homes be burnt up!
To: oceanview
Agree. It should be required in all high school and college history classes.

The only thing worse than riding the donkey is voting for it.
To: Aquinasfan
I don't think there is a media blackout. Fox keeps referring to this as "exclusive" footage, so they haven't given it to other networks yet.
