Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.), ranking minority member of the House Judiciary Committee, accused Boykin of "religiously intolerant remarks against people of the Islamic faith.

I would support giving the general another star and putting him in charge of operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, or Syria. If we cannot get the Islamic world to love us; then we better make sure that we get them to respect us. Lt. Gen William Boykin has what it takes to earn that respect; you earn it by kicking them into line, not by kissing their terrorist sponsoring buns.
