Amid the thorny trials of life
God's buds of beauty grow;
If we'll rejoice and not complain,
His peace and love we'll know. —Sper

If you know Jesus, you always have reasons to rejoice.

Very nice layout Dutchess!

Thanks John, for your capacity to grasp the truth and for the maximum ability that you use in spelling it out.

"Mornin', MIss Dutchess and JH2...thank you both!

A big Howdy and (((HUGS))) to Billie and Spookbrat and all our Hostesses...sorry I missed the day yesterday...a looming deadline was spooking the brat that I am...chained to my work for 16 hours.

Another looms tomorrow, so it'll be a long day again.

The fireline is far away, though...I feel both lucky and guilty for having such an easy ride through all this terrible time...but am glad the news is better this morning.

Can't seem to bear the networks, though...this foolish whining and carping and moaning and itching and bitching about the 'failed plan' in Iraq' is just too much for me...damn Dems.

I need a healthy dose of JH2's fine Two Cents to start my day right.

Wishin' all the Finest a verrrrrrry fine day...)

Now you've really done it, JH - tripped my trigger and got my dandruff up!
In fact, it so angered me, reading this, I must slip into another persauna - UnLadylikeX - to create today's

'Dear John' Letter # 1007:

I wanna know what the French knew - and when did they know it??

True to their classic 'yellowness,' they refused to have anything to do with the destruction of their gravy boat in Iraq...indeed - "Why rock the boat?," one must ask.

No way did they want to be tarred and feathered along with the likes of us - we ungrateful miscreants with whom they had a lapse in judgment and gave the totem pole of Lady Liberty.

They made us pay dearly for it, though, in blood, when we had to go to their rescue in two World Wars, saving them from themselves.

It was logical they would help the Iraquis polish the giant statue of Saddam Hussein, too cowardly to openly kick our bu!!s while we are looking.

The "F" in France stands for facilitators - "R" for R U Looking? - "A" for we want all the "Assets" - "N" for NO! votes in the U.N. and to the reconstruction effort - "C" = Crafty - and "E" for en garde, you buncha know-nothings . . .

It is all our fault for taking liberty to new heights and brutally inflicting that on the poor, unsuspecting citizens of Iraq, who surely were chanting, "Leave me my lone!!"
(a quote from a nephew at a very early age)

JH and All, repeat after me:
I am a dunderhead.
I am a blunderbuss of the highest degree.

Feel all better now?

De Gaulle of dose guyzzz....
