If the Senate doesnt immediately hold a vote, on midnight, November 1st, the moratorium will automatically expire and Katy bar the tax mans door!.....(SNIP)

"Taxpayers deserve to be treated fairly by a system that affects all of us. Ensuring that individuals and businesses keep more of what they earn and are able to retire with dignity is one of my highest priorities. My goal is to eliminate complexities, inequities and distortions by reforming the federal tax system, and to promote fairness for hard-pressed middle income families."
--Senator Kent Conrad

His idea of fairness is obviously to steal money from all Americans, bar none.
I'm now in the midst of writing to those snots in Congress!

Yes, it is funny when they get behind those committee and sub-committe doors all those great promises to fight for the working man/woman are suddenly lost in a sea of greedy intent.

LOL, Peace....But this article emphasizes the necessity that we all do something now....or it WILL be too late. It's not enough to wait to see what the Senate does...we have to let the Senate know their little fiefdoms are in big trouble if they pull this stunt off.

Kent Conrad of North Dakota, Maria Cantwell of Washington and two other senators...
Mark Dayton of Minnesota.

Tax Net Commerce and you'll kill a in industry that has potential to create thousands of jobs. Even Mom n Pop operations can compete on the Net. Then again...tax the Net and maybe we can go back to the Goodle Dayz of hacking and cracking. I'm serious, it was LOTS more fun back then and not as many loons who only think of the Net as a way to make money. BTW for a glimpse of the future check out...
Earth Station 5 Stil kinda beta but WOW! it's working GREAT for me!

Somehow, if the internet is coming to an end, you have to be involved.

Another stroke of brilliance. Why not pass a new Smoot-Hawley act and raise the minimum wage to $10.00 per hour to kill the economy while they are at it?

Earthstation 5 didn't act right on my computer. Never found a single file I was looking for, required alot in the way of special permissions, etc ...
I was not comfortable with it.
Has it been checked out by spyware people?

Hmmm what version did you try? The older one had lots of bugs, the latest has been fine for me. NO spyware..yet. At least not on my machine and I run spybot quite often. However YOU KNOW eventually there's gonna be a price to pay. That's why I'm using it now.
I REALLY LOVE the stealth mode where my net activities at work are pretty much hidden. "Pretty much" the keywords there. I do use "megaproxy" but only the free version so I'm limited. WIsh I could figure out how to surf annonymously at work by myself.
Well, I probably could but I don't have the time to research....sigh.

Didn't Cantwell make all her money through an Internet start-up? She should be the first encouraging growth of e-commerce.
