Who cares? Liberals accuse Republicans of things all the time and never have to pay a price for slander or libel.

If Rhonda here can't stand the heat, then get out of the kitchen.
To: Az Joe
btw, we're all still waiting for Anita Hill to apologize for slandering Clarence Thomas.

Interesting that she's singling out Joe Scarborough, when that stuff was all over the airwaves. Or has she threaten to sue every radio station, TV station and newspaper across Calif?

I believe that most outlets simply read off from the Superior Court's rap sheet. There is no liability for reading a public record on the air. On the other hand, it is an entirely different story if Scarborough linked the Miller who was accusing Arnold with the Miller who was on the rap sheet.

It pains me to say it, but the woman has a valid complaint. The reporting done on her alleged criminal record was beneath even the slipshod standard-issue New York Slimes hit piece.
Whoever made the allegations should have confirmed that the purported Rhonda Miller in police records was the Rhonda Miller in question. The lack of due diligence in this matter was appalling at best; utterly incompetent at worst.
She may have a hard time winning a libel suit, based on the need to demonstrate malice, but I don't think she'd have much trouble getting a win on the defamation issue.

"There is no liability for reading a public record on the air."
But weren't most outlets going beyond reading court documents and making a linkage? I'm not from Calif, so I don't know.

She made her allegations the day before the election. The media didn't bother to fact check her charges before reporting them. They certainly didn't have time to delve into her background. She gave a presser and then vanished without answering a single question... Nope, she got exactly what she deserved.

I dunno... I heard John & Ken and they simply read off the rap sheet.

Just publish your tiny appology on page 14D of the NY Times.

It might be a stronger case if the convicted drug abusing prostitute Rhonda Miller sued the narcissistic Rhonda Miller for defamation of character ...
